What is You Need is Not Money... You need a Purchasing Power!

Pastor T.T Edun of the Believers Loveworld Incorporated aka Christ
Embassy, an exclusive member of the CEC. While Ministering, recently
said...

Money is not Gold, Naira, Pounds, Dollar, Euro but
money is anything that has a purchasing power. If you are thinking of
been rich with a currency then you have a problem. There are things
money can't buy but favour Can. Authority is Money. Favour is Money.
Grace is Money. Faith is Money. It is what has purchasing power. In
the times you are in a Peculiar situations, life is making a request
of you, what will be your response?
In life if you want to be successful through Gods way you must go
through fights. Be bold and Courageous.
Fight a Good fight of Faith!
When God said to Joshua to be bold and Courageous, there was a
tendency that Joshua would fear but God kept on Saying my son be bold
and Courageous. "No fear No fear" When you declare about a car, its
not the money you need for the car you are declaring for but the car
because you might get it for free. Don't look towards the money.
Authority can be legal in you but not vitalized in you.
You get Authority when God gives it to you, what do you do with what
God has given to you?
Never be comfortable with what your money can buy.
Go for things your mouth can buy. Put Authority in
your words ~ Pastor T.T

Fruits and Vegs are They Really Healthy?

Jacelyn explains why some fruits and veggies may not be as healthy as
you may think.
Every year, the federal government puts out a list of fruits with the
highest levels of chemical preservatives and pesticides. These
chemicals can lead to a number of different health problems. To help
avoid this issue, Jacelyn explains that you should try to buy fruits
that are in season, have thick skins, and are grown "organic."

Adele's raw mic feed from her performance of 'Hello' on SNL is breathtaking

Following the release of 25, Adelefever has swept the music world.
And her performance of "Hello" on the SNL hosted by Matthew
McConaughey at the weekend was certainly one to remember.
Someone has managed to isolate the raw vocal feed from the performance
and put it online - and she is pitch-perfect.
While you can hear the pluck of the bass guitar and the occasional
thump of the drums, this is Adele on her own, carrying the entire
song. Listen below.

25 is expected to sell around 3.5 million copies in its first week,
partly in thanks to the singer-songwriter not putting the album on
streaming services like Spotify.
According to Spotify, they are "working" on getting the album
available on their site (artists will often stream it a week after
iTunes sales). More than 1 million copies of 25 were distributed in
the UK alone, with the album expected to become one of the fastest
selling records of all time.

Sexting is 'increasingly the norm' among teenagers

Sexting "increasingly feels like the norm" among teenagers, an expert
has warned.
The term is used to describe sending and or receiving sexually
explicit photographs and text messages, with the Government's Child
Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop) receiving a report a
day on average from parents, schools and pupils.
Kate Burls, a former secondary school teacher and the education team
coordinator at Ceop, an arm of the National Crime Agency, told The
Guardianthe practise "increasingly feels like a norm".
She added that no two incidents are the same, with some involving coercion.
Her comments follow the launch of a NCA campaign in the autumn aimed
at raising awareness of sexting, and enabling parents to educate their
children about the dangers.
As part of the drive, the NCA worked alongside the University of
Edinburgh, the University of Linkoping in Sweden and the German
charity Innocence in Danger to uncover why teenagers are drawn to
sexting.
In-depth interviewswith 51 young people in the UK and Sweden show that
many felt pressured by their partner into send the messages.
Ms Burls also warned that many young people appear unaware that they
are committing an offence when they sext, as it is illegal to
distribute or possess images of person under the age of 18.
The dangers of teenagers sending sexually explicit messages were
highlighted by a case involving a 14-year-old boy earlier this year.
The teenager was added to a police database after he took an explicit
image of himself and sent it to a female pupil of the same age on
Snapchat.
The girl reportedly shared the photograph with others. A police
officer with links to the school in northern England alerted the
authorities after seeing it.
The act was recorded as a crime of making and distributing an indecent
image, but the boy was not arrested or charged.
An incident of these is reported daily in the United State!

Facebook friend numbers linked to depression by new study

Study finds a link between cortisol and depression in later life.

Teenagers with more than 300 Facebook friends are at a higher risk of
stress and depression than those who have fewer, a study has found.
Researchers from Montreal University asked 88 people aged between 12
and 17 how many friends they had on social media and how they
interacted with them.

Samples of the teenagers' cortisol levels were also taken four times a
day over three consecutive days.
Those with more Facebook friends were found to have higher levels of
cortisol - which studies have shown can cause depression in later
life.
While none of the teenagers taking part in the study suffered from
depression, Professor Sonia Lupien, who headed up the study, said:
"While other important external factors are also responsible, we
estimated that the isolated effect of Facebook on cortisol was around
eight per cent.

Now, don't you think you need to reduce your activities on facebook...?

Chloë Grace Moretz Is All Grown Up On The Cover Of Nylon

The new cover is a stark contrast to Moretz's 2013 cover shoot for
Nylon, which she did when she was 16 years old.
Moretz has a bunch of movies slated to come out soon: "November
Criminals," "The 5th Wave," "Brain on Fire" and "Neighbors 2: Sorority
Rising" with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron.
And while it might be easy to ask her a million questions about
co-stars and set stories, Moretz is more interested in Democratic
debates and her favorite presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, in
the Nylon feature.
"I read up on all of the candidates and Hillary is the best -- male or
female," said Moretz to the magazine."Hillary's giving us real
answers to real questions for once. And I think she's one of the first
candidates we've had in a long time that isn't lying to us in that
sense."
Moretz added, "I think she's an amazing role model, and I like her
ideas for education reform and college loan -- higher education should
be as accessible as a high school education. You shouldn't have to pay
15 years of your life back to a bank to pay off a student loan."

This Black Teen Rock Climbing Sensation Is Shattering Stereotypes

Sixteen-year-old rock climbing champion Kai Lightner is reaching new
heights with his athletic skills as one of a few professional black
rock climbers.
Myles Washington
Lightner told The Huffington Post that he can't remember a time when
he wasn't finding ways to get his two feet off the ground and that he
started climbing when he was six years old.
Eventually, he said, someone at his mom's job recognized his talent
and suggested that she take him to the local rock-climbing gym where
he soon discovered his passion for the activity. He's won several
championshipsfor his incredible ability, but he said his experiences
as a black climber has been somewhat of a challenge.
"When I would tell [black] people that my sport was rock-climbing they
would look at me funny, and ask 'What is that?' 'We don't do that,'"
Lightner said.
In 2013, the Smithsonianreported that 78 percent of Americans who took
part in outdoor activities, which included rock climbing, were white.
Rock climber and journalist James Mills explained the misperception of
black people in outdoor sports and the lack of representation of
people of color.
"It's not a question of whether or nor African-Americans can climb
mountains. What matters is as [a] group we tend not to," Mills wrote.
"And for a variety of different social and cultural reasons the world
of mountaineering has been relegated almost exclusively to white men."
There are structural influences that have barred black people from
participating in outdoor sports such as rock climbing, which has kept
the majority of participants white. Lightner said he has felt
accepted by other climbers, but that he has gotten a lot of grief from
other people of color for his participation in the sport.
Lightner, who is from a predominantly black community in Fayetteville,
North Carolina, said he has received comments from other black people
that made him feel pigeonholed by their definition of what type of
sports black people should get involved in such as basketball or
football.

What almond milk, calcium pills and zeolites all have in common... you may be swallowing ROCKS!

Did you know that calcium pills are linked to heart attacks? Were you
aware that commercial almond milk is made with ground up inorganic
oyster shells or limestone? Has anyone told you that zeolite powders
are mined out of the ground from crushed rocks containing high levels
of lead and aluminum?
The most important nutritional warning I can offer you today is tostop
eating and drinking rocks.
In almond milk, cheap, low-grade calcium is mixed with water and
carageenan (a thickener) to make a thick, whitish substance that
visually resembles the color and texture of almond milk. Cheap calcium
carbonate is added to almond milk to make it compete with the calcium
content of regular cow's milk. But the result is a nutritional
catastrophe: You're drinking inorganic, crushed oyster shells or
limestone!
Cheap calcium pills arealmost always contaminated with LEAD. They're
derived from low-grade, inorganic sources of raw materials made almost
entirely withcalcium carbonate. This isn't the kind of calcium your
body needs. In fact, calcium carbonate probably contributes to artery
and kidney calcification. Ditch the cheap calcium pills and get
calcium from high-grade sources or your food (plants).
Zeolites are mined out of the ground like rocks. They're made from
aluminosilicates (high in aluminum) and typically contain very high
concentrations of the heavy metal LEAD (typically 20 - 60 ppm). When
swallowed in large, granular form, they pass right through your
digestive tract undigested. That's because your weak stomach acid
can't dissolve rocks. But when zeolitesare crushed into fine powders,
they release both aluminum and lead during digestion in your stomach.
This greatly concerns me because people who eat zeolite powders have
been shown to urinate increased levels of aluminum and lead,
indicating these metals are likely getting absorbed into their blood.
Stop eating ROCKS and start eating REAL FOODI'm frequently astonished
at how so many people in the health industry can be led astray from
the basic fundamentals of mindful nutrition. It's not rocket science
to realize thatyou should get your minerals from food sources, not
rocks.
It's also not rocket science to realize that you probably shouldn't be
swallowed rocks suspended in water through the use of carageenan or
other thickeners. Suspended molecules of calcium carbonatedoes not
equate to "milk."
And if you're hoping to eliminate toxic heavy metals from your body,
it makes little sense to keep eating them every day in the form of
fine powder zeolites.
Sadly, some of what's being offered in the food and dietary supplement
industries is marketed to consumers in a misleading way, either
denying consumers the knowledge of what the substance is really made
of or wildly exaggerating claims of what the substance can really
accomplish in the body. While there really are true "miracle"
nutrients like vitamin D and resveratrol, cheap, low-grade, inorganic
rocks probably aren't good for you to eat or drink on a regular basis.
Follow these commonsense health fundamentals from the Health Ranger•
If you want to drink almond milk, make it yourselffrom almonds and
water (plus a blender and a nut milk bag). Stop buying commercial
"fake" almond milks sold at the grocery store.
• If you're looking to boost your calciumintake, get it from
full-spectrum calcium sources (like seaweed calcium) or from foods
that are naturally high in calcium (like broccoli). Stop taking cheap
calcium carbonate pills.
• If you want to detox daily, drink clean water, exercise in
moderation, and let your body achieve the detox it naturally
accomplishes on its own. Don't swallow inorganic materials in some
false hope that they will magically pull heavy metals out of your
body's tissues and organs. That's nothing but empty hype being spewed
by dishonest marketers.
Avoid sketchy dietary supplementsfrom low-grade sources or companies
that make wild, unsubstantiated claims. Don't swallow nutritional
supplements unless you're sure they've beentested for heavy metals,
and beware of anything from China.
Above all, strive to get as much nutrition as you can from growing your
own foodin nutrient-rich soils or hydroponic grow boxes. The more
nutrition you can get from food, the better off you'll be in the long
run.

Aspartame Found to Cause Breast Cancer, Leukemia and Lymphomas in Latest Animal Experiments

A new study on aspartame conducted by the Ramazzini Foundation reveals
that aspartame causes a dose-dependent increase in cancers (lymphomas,
leukemias and breast cancers) when consumed at levels approaching
those consumed by humans in diet soft drinks. Specifically, the study
shows (reprinted from the abstract):
a) a significant dose-related increase of malignant tumor-bearing
animals in males, in particular in the group treated at 2000 ppm; b) a
significant increase of the incidence in lymphomas/leukemias in males
treated at 2000 ppm and a significant dose-related increase of the
incidence of lymphomas/leukemias in females, in particular in the
group treated at 2000 ppm; c) a significant dose-related increase of
the incidence of mammary cancer in females, in particular in the group
treated at 2000 ppm. Conclusions. The results of this carcinogenicity
bioassay not only confirm, but also reinforce the first experimental
demonstration of [aspartame's] multipotential carcinogenicity at a
dose level close to the acceptable daily intake (ADI) for humans.
Furthermore, the study demonstrates that when lifespan exposure to
[aspartame] begins during fetal life, its carcinogenic effects are
increased.
The study, entitled"Lifespan Exposure to Low Doses of Aspartame
Beginning During Prenatal Life Increases Cancer Effects in Rats"has
been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed
journalEnvironmental Health Perspectives (EHP), the most widely-read
environmental science journal in the world.
This is the second study conducted by the Ramizzini Foundation
documenting the cancer-causing effects of aspartamein animals. Most
sane people, when faced with such evidence, would ask the obvious
questions: Could aspartame also cause cancer in humans? Should we
review the safety of aspartame just in case?
Shutting down good science to protect profitsVirtually the entire
health and medical system in the United States is not interested in
these questions. Following the publication of this study, the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration issued a statement flatly denying
aspartame poses any safety risk whatsoever, rejecting the idea that
its safety or approval as a food ingredient should be reviewed at all.
Specifically, FDAspokesperson Michael Herndon said, "...the FDA finds
no reason to alter its previous conclusion that aspartame is safe as a
general purpose sweetener in food."
In other words, the FDA is not interested in any new science that
might challenge a decision it already made. Long live
scientific-sounding dogma!
As reported by the CSPI in a recent press release,According to a 1996
report in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the FDA rejected repeated
proposals by NIEHS to test aspartame using more modern methods than
were originally used. David Rall, the former director of NIEHS and its
National Toxicology Program, said, "any compound that is that widely
used needs to be retested with modern methods every once in a while."
The State of California, too, has urged new testing of aspartame. The
FDA also rejected NIEHS's proposal to test acesulfame potassium, which
CSPI says was "abysmally tested" by its manufacturer and showed signs
of causing cancerin animals.
Clearly, the FDA only hears what it wants to hear when it comes to
protecting the highly profitable aspartame market. Those who have
studied a bit of aspartame history know that aspartame was pushed
through the FDA by none other than Donald Rumsfeld. Click here to read
more articles on aspartame and its dubious history.Since the very
beginning, the FDA has done everything in its power to protect the
aspartame industry, including denying approval for the natural herbal
sweetener stevia as a way to suppress the competition and protect the
market for corporate-manufactured chemical sweeteners like aspartame.
CSPI urges re-evaluation of aspartame safetyThis latest study on
aspartame and cancer caused the CSPI to issue a public press release
calling for the FDA to review the study to determine whether aspartame
is really safe. CSPI also downgraded its rating on aspartame and is
now recommending that everyone should avoid using aspartame.
(For the record, I've been recommending people avoid aspartame since I
first began writing about nutrition. The toxicity of this chemical
sweetener was obvious to me, and in my opinion there is no safe dose
of a substance that breaks down into formaldehyde in the human body.
In my view, aspartame is an obvious neurotoxin, not to mention its
cancer-promoting effects. No one should consume it, and children or
expectant mothers should avoid it like a poison.)
Also reported by CSPI:Among those who today called on FDA Commissioner
Andrew von Eschenbach to review the new aspartame study are former
Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials John Froines
(now at UCLA) and Peter F. Infante (now at George Washington
University); James Huff, current Associate Director for Chemical
Carcinogenesis at the National Institute of Environmental Health
Sciences (NIEHS); and Kamal M. Abdo, a toxicologist formerly at the
National Toxicology Program of the NIEHS.
Let's poison America! With its stubborn refusal to even review the
safety record on aspartame, the FDA seems to be shouting out loud,
"Let's poison America!" Of course, the FDA has no intention of
initiating anything resembling real scientific scrutiny on aspartame
becauseaspartame was never proven safe in the first place! It was
force-fed through the FDA's approval process based purely on
distorted, junk science constructed to win approval for a chemical
that would earn billions of dollars for powerful corporations (and the
powerful, evil bastards who run them).
And ever since, aspartame has been poisoning Americans each and every
day, contributing to seizures, blindness, migraine headaches, vision
problems, neurological disorders and possibly even cancers. The fact
that no health authority in America is interested in taking a new look
at the safety of aspartame is nothing short of astonishing. That is,
until you consider the fact that most medical authorities suffer from
a severe case of Groupthink and posses no ideas other than the ones
spoonfed them by their politically-motivated bosses. It takes real
courage to break with the herd and actually state the obvious these
days. Most people are satisfied just to go along with whatever the
masses say, even if it makes no sense.
Some people call this refusal by the FDA to review aspartame's safety
an "oversight" or "mistake" on the part of the agency. Who are they
kidding? I call ita crime against the People of America, because to
knowingly allow a dangerous, cancer-causing, nerve-damaging chemical
to be used in the national food supply -- even while receiving tens of
thousands of health complaints from the people consuming aspartame --
is nothing less than negligent homicide. It's a felony, and those
responsible for allowing this poison to contaminate America's food
supply are, indeed, unindicted felons who deserve to be arrested and
prosecuted for their crimes. (A fitting punishment, as always, would
be to force-feed them high doses of aspartame and see what happens. If
it's really as safe as they claim, there's no harm, is there?)
Anybody with a brain that still functions in this country -- and I
admit that number is shrinking by the hour -- knows that all the
pro-aspartame studies upon which the FDA based its previous safety
approval were partially or fully funded by the corporations making
money from the sale of aspartame. The entire history of aspartame
boils down to corruption, influence and profit-mongering.
There is nothing resembling scientific scrutiny in the aspartame
debacle. Nearly every decision that has been made about aspartame by
government regulators or private industry has been apolitical
decision, not a public safetydecision. There is nothing resembling
public safety still operating at the Food and Drug Administration
anymore.
Add aspartame to the FDA's Hall of Shame, right alongside Vioxx,
Rezulin and the ordered destruction of recipe books that dared to
mention the stevia herb as an ingredient. It's just one more way in
which the FDA continues to betray the American people and subject them
to life-threatening ingredients that any honest Food and Drug
Administration would have banned long ago.

How To Pay Back Your Borrowed MTN Credit Without Losing

Let's a$$umes you borrowed 100naira from MTN and you used up the
credit, your are now left with only 0.00naira, remember that if you
recharge 100naira they will deduct the 100naira meaning that you just
paid the amount you borrowed.
To avoid loosing the 100naira airtime.
Simply recharge the 100naira you want to use for the payment by
dialing *885*YourRechargePin#
With this you have automatically paid for the 100naira you borrowed

NOTE:The same trick is applicable to any amount you borrowed from MTN.
Also note that normally when you recharge with *885* it doubles the
amount you recharge.

Signs of End Time - United Nations plans require biometric identification and birth registration for all humans on Earth

Most Americans are too busy to pay attention to the United Nations,
let alone the actions of their own government. This is unfortunate
considering the fact that the place is run by representatives of vile,
authoritarian regimes that are always looking for ways to control
their respective populations as well as those of other countries.
Many of these efforts are embodied broadly under an initiative known
as Agenda 21, which was further exposed recentlyduring a speech by
Pope Francis. In an encyclical released over the summer, the pontiff
lamented about environmental issues and concentration of wealth in too
few hands in a document that actually reads more like a globalist
political manifesto than a religious or scientific offering.
At the time, we provided some definition and detail into Agenda 21.
Pushed by the United Nations, the agenda consists of a bevy of
proposed regulations that have been years in the making and
essentially strip individuals of their freedom while asserting
centralized control over private property. The provisions amount to
population control and reduction in certain areas deemed ripe for
"sustainability"; control over local and national economies via the
regulation of carbon emissions and other mechanisms of pollutants; and
globalized central control over the financial decisions of businesses
and especially landowners.
Chipping the global populationNow, as reported by Michael Snyder
atBlacklisted News, the UN wants to essentially microchip everyone on
the planet so that global elitist "managers" can track us all 24/7/365
by 2030, which is when the elitists undoubtedly believe they will have
sufficiently pacified the populace.
Snyder drew in part upon a previous post of his at The Economic
Collapse Blogwhere he discussed 17 new "Global Goals" adopted by UN
representatives in late September.
Among those goals is this nugget: "By 2030, provide legal identity for
all, including birth registration." [See it hereand click on item 16,
then view the drop-down menu].
"The United Nations is already working hard toward the implementation
of this goal – particularly among refugee populations," Snyder writes.
"The UN has partnered with Accenture to implement a biometric
identification system that reports information 'back to a central
database in Geneva.'"
Snyder referenced a pieceposted at Find Biometrics, a "global identity
management" firm, which states:
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is moving
forward with its plans to use biometric technology to identify and
track refugees, and has selected a vendor for the project. Accenture,
an international technology services provider, has won out in the
competitive tendering process and will oversee the implementation of
the technology in a three-year contract.
Snyder points out that according to additional information published
by Find Biometrics, the technology will be utilized by the UN to
eventually encompass every man, woman and child on the planet – not
just refugees.
They're taking the world for themselves, and that means taking it away
from youHe also notes that none of the language being used by the
planetary masterminds is selected at random. We are referred referred
to by the UN and many governments as "global citizens"; our economies
are becoming more and more integrated (hence the new Trans-Pacific
Partnership – the latest effort to advance economic "globalization");
and the tnternet has created global interconnectivity.
Even worse, Americans – the most "independent" of all people – are
going along with it.
"Decades ago, most Americans would have been up in arms over something
like this," Snyder writes. "But now most people just seem to accept
these changes passively. Very powerful secret societies and
international organizations have been moving us in this direction for
a very long time, and most Americans simply have no idea what is
happening."
Much of our inattention can be blamed on other factors. For one, tens
of millions of people are distracted because they are trying to eke
out a living; others choose to be distracted, spending more time
paying attention to what Hollywood is doing or what friends are saying
on social media.
Meanwhile, the world is being shaped by the elite, which primarily
involves taking it away from – and then managing –you.

15 Business That can Progress in a Collapse Economy

When the economy collapses, you'll still need a way to generate goods
or services that can be bartered with others for survival. While lots
of people have gone to great lengths in the realm of prepping with
stored food, medicine, water filters, precious metals, ammo and
communications equipment, very few have realistically thought about
what sort of business they might run in a post-collapse economy.
In this two-part special report airing on TalkNetwork.com, I cover
the 15 best businesses to operate in a collapse.
A collapse doesn't mean just sitting around eating canned foodThe
topic of running a post-collapse business is very important to
explore, because far too many people believe that a collapse will
merely mean them sitting around, living off stored foods and waiting
for order to be restored.
Depending on the collapse scenario, that restoration could take
YEARS(consider an EMP attack that takes out the Large Power
Transformers across the grid). During that time, even someone who is
well stocked with food and other supplies will still need to engage in
community barter and local commerce. And sooner or later, even large
supplies of stored food run out and need to be replaced with freshly
grown food...
That's why every person needs to be able toproduce something of value
in a barter economy: a product or a service that someone else finds
valuable in a collapse scenario.
For example, shoe repair skills seem antiquated in today's economy,
but they can be extremely valuable in a collapse. In fact, show and
clothing repair is a "business" that can be very successful in a
collapse.

Rhapsody Today: He’s Made You A Helper

Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves
long enough to lend a helping hand (Philippians 2:4 MSG).
As the seed of Abraham, you've been blessed and enriched in all
things. Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1). The Bible
specifically tells us he "…was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in
gold" (Genesis 13:2). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says all things are yours; so
you see, this wasn't just for Abraham; you've become a part of it.
Therefore, always have the mentality of abundance, and be
prosperityconscious, because God has chosen to bless the world through
you.
You might say, "But I'm from a very humble background; I grew up in
poverty and pain"; it makes no difference. Now that you're in Christ,
you're the seed of Abraham. Refuse to think that you have no advantage
in life. Make a success of your life. Think greatness; think success.
You're God's channel of blessing to your world; have that
consciousness. You have something to give to the world; you're
fashioned for good works: "For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10).
As much as God loves to bless people, He can only do it through you;
you're His point of contact to your world! He's made you a helper to
many. He's invoked potentials, abilities, and wisdom into you, to do
extraordinary things, and be a blessing in this world.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for anointing me with the Holy Spirit and
with power to positively effect changes, and impact the lives of
people all over the world. As the seed of Abraham, my mind is seasoned
with supernatural ideas, thoughts and visions. I'm imbued with divine
wisdom to bless and change the world, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Solution to the Fuel Scarcity! Ibe Kachiukwu

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachiukwu yesterday
ordered the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, to sell off for
free, the petroleum products of any fuel station that is caught
hoarding petrol during this period of fuel scarcity. He gave the order
after a working visit to some retail outlets in Abuja.
"I have instructed DPR that if they discover any fuel station involved
in hoarding, they should sell the products for free to customers
around there. It is not just sealing the station that is the answer.
It is penalizing them when they do these things and I hope the message
goes out loud and clear," he said

Jamb Introduces New Admission Policy

The order came following a motion entitled: "JAMB's New Admission
Policy, " sponsored by Senator Joshua Lidani, APC, Gombe South,
which was debated during plenary.
They also urged JAMB to consult widely with Parents Teachers
Association, PTA, ASUU and all other stakeholders in the education
sector with a view to coming out with a friendlier holistic,
comprehensive and sustainable admissions policy.
It also directed its Committee on Education to enquire into
circumstances surrounding the JAMB policy, including all allegations
of favouritism and generally review the power of JAMB vis-a-vis
administration and submit findings within one week.
Lidani said JAMB, at its 2015 Combined Policy Meeting, held on July
14, 2015, in Abuja, announced the adoption of a policy whereby
candidates of universities with surplus applicants for the Unified
Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, were reassigned to other
universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities.
Which he said was inappropriate because some candidates get sent to
private universities that they cant afford.

21 Success Tips for Young and Aspiring Entrepreneurs! Be More Productive!

Being successful often means learning from those who have already
achieved their goals. Having a mentor is an amazing blessing to an
entrepreneur, but not everyone can find one in person.
If you haven't yet found your personal business guru, here are 21 tips
for young or aspiring entrepreneur to help get you started.
1. Challenge yourself.
Richard Branson says his biggest motivation is to keep challenging
himself. He treats life like one long university education, where he
can learn more every day. You can too!
2. Do work you care about.
There's no doubt that running a business take a lot of time. Steve
Jobs noted that the only way to be satisfied in your life is to do
work that you truly believe in.
3. Take the risk.
We never know the outcome of our efforts unless we actually do it.
Jeff Bezos said it helped to know that he wouldn't regret failure, but
he would regret not trying.
Related: The 3 Key Elements to Make Your Business a Success
4. Believe in yourself.
As Henry Ford famously said, "Whether you think you can, or think you
can't, you're right." Believe that you can succeed, and you'll find
ways through different obstacles. If you don't, you'll just find
excuses.
5. Have a vision.
The founder and CEO of Tumblr, David Karp, notes that an entrepreneur
is someone who has a vision for something and a desire to create it.
Keep your vision clear at all times.
6. Find good people.
Who you're with is who you become. Reid Hoffman, co-founder of
LinkedIn, noted that the fastest way to change yourself is to hang out
with people who are already the way you want to be.
7. Face your fears.
Overcoming fear isn't easy, but it must be done. Arianna Huffington
once said that she found fearlessness was like a muscle -- the more
she exercised it, the stronger it became.
8. Take action.
The world is full of great ideas, but success only comes through
action. Walt Disney once said that the easiest way to get started is
to quit talking and start doing. That's true for your success as well.
9. Do the time.
No one succeeds immediately, and everyone was once a beginner. As
Steve Jobs wisely noted, "if you look closely, most overnight
successes took a long time." Don't be afraid to invest time in your
company.
10. Manage energy, not time.
Your energy limits what you can do with your time, so manage it wisely.
11. Build a great team.
No one succeeds in business alone, and those who try will lose to a
great team every time. Build your own great team to bolster your
success.
12. Hire character.
As you build your team, hire for character and values. You can always
train someone on skills, but you can't make someone's values fit your
company after the fact.
13. Plan for raising capital.
Richard Harroch, a venture capitalist, has this advice for upcoming
entrepreneurs: "It's almost always harder to raise capital than you
thought it would be, and it always takes longer. So plan for that."
14. Know your goals.
Ryan Allis, co-founder of iContact, pointed out that having the end in
mind every day ensures you're working toward it. Set goals and remind
yourself of them each day.
15. Learn from mistakes.
Many entrepreneurs point to mistakes as being their best teacher. When
you learn from your mistakes, you move closer to success -- even
though you initially failed.
16. Know your customer.
Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, cited knowing your customer as
one of his three keys to success. Know those you serve better than
anyone else, and you'll be able to deliver the solutions they need.
17. Learn from complaints.
Bill Gates once said that your most unhappy customers are your
greatest source of learning. Let unhappy customers teach you where the
holes in your service are.
18. Ask for customers' input.
Assuming what customers want or need will never lead to success. You
must ask them directly, and then carefully listen to what they say.
19. Spend wisely.
When you spend money on your business, be careful to spend it wisely.
It's easy to spend too much on foolish things and run out of capital
too soon.
20. Understand your industry.
Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos, once said, "Don't play games you
don't understand, even if you see lots of other people making money
from them." Truly understanding your industry is key to having
success.
21. Deliver more than expected.
Google's Larry Page encourages entrepreneurs to deliver more than
customers expect. It's a great way to get noticed in your industry and
build a loyal following of advocates.
Being a successful entrepreneur takes a lot of work, a lot of vision
and a lot of perseverance. These 21 tips, from entrepreneurs who have
already found success, will help you navigate the path much more
easily.

How Alcohol Affects a Teen's Developing Brain! This may be The Reason for the Poor School Performance

Alcohol affects two crucial parts of the brain which are vulnerable
when a teenager is developing. This can result in irreversible brain
changes that can impact decision making, personality, memory and
learning.
How does alcohol affect messages in the body?
Ever played Chinese whispers? Well your brain does every day, getting
messages from your nerve cells to your body. It needs to send the
correct messages throughout your body so it functions correctly.
Alcohol acts on the nerve cells of the brain and disrupts the
communication between nerves cells and other cells of the body.
Alcohol does this by altering the actions of two major
neurotransmitters in the brain.
Neurotransmitters are chemical messages, which enable nerve cells to
talk to each other and to other cells in the body. Alcohol suppresses
the activities of certain nerve pathways, eventually making a person
appear sluggish, lethargic and slow-moving.
While research tells us alcohol can damage the developing brain it is
not clear how much alcohol it takes to do this. For these reasons, it
is recommended that for under 18's no alcohol is the safest choice and
that they delay the initiation of drinking for as long as possible.
What parts of the brain are affected?
While there are several parts of the brain affected by alcohol during
the teenage years there are two areas of the brain that are
particularly sensitive to alcohol during this period.
Hippocampus
The hippocampus is responsible for memory and learning.
Studies of adolescents show that heavy and extended alcohol use is
associated with a 10% reduction in the size of the hippocampus. It
also shows that the function of the hippocampus is uniquely sensitive
to alcohol at this time and that alcohol may be poisonous to the nerve
cells of the hippocampus causing them to be damaged or destroyed.3
Prefrontal lobe
The prefrontal lobe is important for planning, judgement, decision
making, impulse control and language.
This area of the brain changes the most during the teenage years.
Research with heavy drinking adolescents' shows that these young
people have smaller prefrontal lobes than young people of the same age
who do not drink.
The body of research about the effects of alcohol on the developing
brain is still growing. Studies have shown physical changes in the
brain and evidence of impaired problem solving and other cognitive
function resulting from young people's alcohol use.
It is well known that of young people who do drink in Australia, the
number who experience alcohol-related problems is high. Studies of
these young people have shown significant and detrimental changes in
brain development compared with their non-alcohol-using peers.
Does alcohol influence the brain in other ways?
Alcohol affects cells in the body, and the most immediate impacts are
seen on the brain. Alcohol is a depressant that affects the brain by
causing the brain to slow down. This can result in:
Slurred speech.
Poor muscle control and judgement.
Confusion.
Slower reactions.
Poor vision.
Lack of coordination.
Sleep disruption.
The earlier a person starts drinking alcohol (drinking at levels that
are likely to cause injury or ill-health) , the greater the risk of
changing the development of the brain. This can lead to problems with
memory and learning, and increases the risk of having alcohol-related
problems later in life.
Alcohol and enjoyment
Changes in the wiring of a young and developing brain due to alcohol
use can result in finding alcohol more rewarding when they are adults.
A strong feeling of reward from alcohol use may be associated with an
increased risk of alcohol-related problems when they are adults.

Samsung offers teens free vacation, as long as they...go on, guess

There are offers that are special, offers you can't refuse and offers
that make you shudder at the very thought.
Please decide which you think this is.
It's an ad produced by Samsung's French arm. It ran in May. However,
as Adweek reports, it's just won a gold EPICA advertising award, in
which tipsy journalists, rather than ego-addled creatives, are the
judges.
The ad has a simple premise. It puts young people -- all owners of a
Samsung Galaxy A smartphone -- into strange rooms with one-way mirrors
and a TV screen. Then, on behalf of Samsung, an enticing offer is
made. Would the kids like to go on the vacation of their dreams?
It shall be theirs. Oh, with one little condition.
Samsung Galaxy A - The Way You Arefrom Kinou Conseilon Vimeo.
I won't spoil the condition. It's very poignant, almost beautiful in
its conception. And the twist is delicious.
Samsung representatives did not respond to a request for comment on the ad.
The makers told Adweek that there was no subterfuge in the production
of these ads. I worked in ad agencies for a long time and I was forced
to tell clients about pigs flying past 747s once or twice, so I will
always wonder about truth in advertising.
Still, much of the action certainly has a real flavor about it. The
kids' reactions when they realize the full ramifications of their
decision-making makes for excellent film.
However, there's one little aspect I find disturbing. The impression
left is that every one of these kids accepted Samsung's offer.
Would you have?

Women Strip to Protest Aganist Rape in Brazil (See Photos)

Hundreds of women stripped off to protest rape and violence as part of a SlutWalk event.
The topless participants had slogans written on their bodies and banners as they marched through the streets and blocked traffic in Rio de Janeiro’s, Brazil.
The event, which featured powerful messages and colourful displays, was held along Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana beachfront in Brazil.
Protesters said one their key aims was to address claims by some that women provoke attacks by the way they dress or act.
They also wanted to fight against proposed new abortion restrictions which, if passed, would mean a woman who was raped could only have a termination if she could prove the crime.
Demonstrators scrawled words onto their breasts, stomachs, backs and arms with lipstick and crayons and there was samba dancing.
Stephanie Ruas, 26, said: “We may face violence anywhere. At school, as a young girl, at work – that’s the culture.
“Brazil is one of the worst places for a woman to travel alone. When I travel I bring a special door jam so that my hotel room cannot be opened.”
The protesters said a woman is killed every two hours in Brazil which they claim makes it the fifth most dangerous country for females.
Indara Costa, 18, said: “Men in Brazil think we are objects. We want to be able to do what we want with our bodies without being harassed.”
Saturday’s event was the fifth Slutwalk march held in Rio. Photos

Todays' Word for Us - Rhapsody of Realities

The Purity of a Christian

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and
to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance
patience; and to patience godliness (2 Peter 1:5-6).

As a child of God, it's important that you always exude the excellence
and righteousness of God that's in your spirit. It should be easy for
anyone to look at your life and tell that you're a Christian. In the
context of our opening scripture, "godliness" doesn't refer to the
righteousness which is in your heart, but to what you do that can be
seen outwardly; it means piety.
There must be some piousness expressed in your behaviour, attitude,
language, way of thinking, and way of doing things. There must be some
discipline in your life, and in your communication. Never use vulgar
or unwholesome words; have a clean language. The Christian has what is
called "purity"; there's the purity of a Christian, which should
radiate through you. There's some spirituality about a real Christian.
It's something that distinguishes you, because you're not of this
world.
You're separated unto God, unto the life of righteousness. There
should be some "calmness" in your life; there should be a way you
carry yourself. There should be no roughness about you. There're
places you shouldn't be found in, and things you shouldn't do or say.
Use the Word to check yourself always, to get rid of any wrong stuff
in your life. Keep bringing forth fruits that are consistent with your
life and nature of righteousness: "Bring forth fruit that is
consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of
heart]" (Matthew 3:8 AMP).
Prayer
Dear Father, you've imparted your righteousness into my heart, and set
me apart to be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in
purity, and sanctification, to my world. My life is the expression of
your righteousness, and purity of the Spirit, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dealing With Rejection! Standing to it Rather Falling

Life is about going for things. And when we do, rejection is always a
possibility.
Big or Small, Rejection Affects Us All
Rejection doesn't have to be about the big stuff like not getting into
your top college, not making the team, or not getting asked to prom.
Everyday situations can lead to feelings of rejection, too, like if
your joke didn't get a laugh, if no one remembered to save you a seat
at the lunch table, or if the person you really like talks to everyone
but you.
Feeling rejected is the opposite of feeling accepted. But being
rejected (and we all will be at times) doesn't mean someone isn't
liked, valued, or important. It just means that one time, in one
situation, with one person, things didn't work out.
Rejection hurts. But it's impossible to avoid it altogether. In fact,
you don't want to: People who become too afraid of rejection might
hold back from going after something they want. Sure, they avoid
rejection, but they're also 100% guaranteed to miss out on what they
want but won't try for.
1
Have an appropriate grieving period. You are going to feel upset
because of a rejection, whether it's having your manuscript rejected,
an idea rejected at work, being rejected by a potential romantic
partner. You are allowed to be upset about that, and, in fact, it's
healthy for you to give yourself some to time to process and grieve.
*.Take some time out of your life to process the rejection. For
example: if you can take the rest of the day off work, do that. Or if
you were planning on going out that night, stay in and watch a movie
instead. Go for a walk after an upsetting letter rejection, or allow
yourself to binge on that chocolate cake.
*.Make sure that you don't go overboard and spend days sitting in your
house wallowing in your misery. That will only make you feel worse in
the long run.
2
Talk to a trusted friend. Now, this is not to say you get free rein to
shout your pain about the rejection from the rooftops. This will only
tell people (your potential publisher, that girl that you liked, your
boss) that you're whiny and dramatic and can't handle life. So get a
trusted friend/family member or two and talk it over with them. [1]
*.The friend you want is the one who will tell it to you straight.
They can help you sort out what went wrong (if anything; sometimes
there aren't things you can change and you should just let it be).
They can also make sure that you stay on track with your grieving
period so that you don't start wallowing.
*.Avoid getting on social media to air your grievances. The internet
never forgets and when you're trying to get that fab new job, your
employer might check the internet and see that you don't handle
rejection well. No matter how upset or angry you are, just don't.
*.Don't complain too much. Again, you don't want to wallow in the
rejection, otherwise you're going to work yourself up into a state of
righteous (or depressed) fervor. Don't start in about your rejection
every time you're talking with your friend. If you think you've gone
overboard, make sure to ask them "Am I dwelling on this rejection too
much?" If they say yes, adjust accordingly.
3
Accept the rejection early. The earlier you accept the rejection and
attempt to move on from it, the easier a time you're going to have. It
will also mean that you won't let rejections in the future absolutely
flatten you.
*.For example: if you don't get that job you were really hoping for,
allow the appropriate time to be upset and then let it go. It's time
to start looking for something else, or examining what maybe you could
change for the future. It's good to keep in mind that when one thing
doesn't work out, something else usually will and usually in a way you
didn't expect.
4
Do not take rejection personally.Remember that the rejection says
nothing about you as a person. Getting rejected is part of life and it
is not a personal attack. For whatever reason the publisher, the girl,
your boss, wasn't interested in a particular thing.
*.Rejection isn't your fault, per se. The other person (or people) was
rejecting something particular that didn't work forthem. They were
rejecting the request,not you.
*.Remember, they can't reject you as a person because they don't know
you. Even if you've gone on a few dates with someone, that doesn't
mean they know everything about you and are thus rejecting you as a
person. They are rejecting a situation that doesn't work for them.
Respect that.
*.For example: you asked out that girl you really liked, and she said
"no." Does this mean that you are worthless? Does this mean no one
will ever want to date you? No, of course not. She simply isn't
interested in the request (for whatever reason; she could be in a
relationship, she could be not interested in dating, etc.).
5
Do something else. You need to get your mind off the rejection after
the appropriate grieving time. Don't immediately get back to work on
whatever it was that was rejected, because you'll still be dwelling on
the rejection. You need a little space and time from it.
*.For example: say you sent a novel manuscript off to a publisher and
it got rejected. After grieving for a bit, move on to a different
story, or take some time trying your hand at different writing (trying
out poetry, or short stories).
*.Doing something fun can be a great way to get your mind out of the
rejection and to help you other focus. Go out dancing, buy that new
book that you really wanted, take the weekend and go to the beach with
a friend.
*.You cannot let rejection bring your life to a screeching halt,
because you are going to have lots of instances of rejection in your
life (as everyone does). By moving on with your life and doing other
things, you aren't letting rejection run your life.

Dounching, Not a Reliable Birth Control Process

A lot of young teenage girls are faced with the issue of Birth
Control...! There are lot of choices to do that...!
Douching like many girls believe is a good way of preventing Pregnancy
has been disclosed unsafe, and unreliable...!
*.Sperm are extremely fast swimmers. Thousands of them can reach the
uterus by the time a girl even begins to douche.
*.The pressure of a douching solution squirted into the vagina can
actuallypushsperm into the uterus.
*.Douching may increase a girl's chances of getting a sexually
transmitted disease (STD).
Douching isn't a good idea for "cleansing" the vagina either. The
vagina has its own natural cleaning system that flushes out bacteria.
The chemicals and perfumes in douches or feminine sprays don't help
and can actuallycauseproblems like allergic reactions, irritation, or
infections.
